Events & Adventures members at sporting events like the San Jose Earthquakes!

Sporting Events with Events & Adventures

Sporting Events are uber-popular with our members!

Sporting events are a hot commodity with Events &Adventures in the Bay Area.  Whether it’s football, baseball, hockey, or soccer, we love to attend them all!  Last weekend, the Santa Clara and the San Francisco clubs attended a soccer game at the new Avaya Stadium in San Jose.  This new sporting arena is home to the largest outdoor stadium bar in the country, and is also known for its “edible garden”, which carries an assortment of apricot, plum, and cherry trees.

This evening’s weather was perfect and the conversation was plentiful.  We all enjoyed the first half of the game from the bar which was located about ten yards from the field.  Once we had our fill of food and drinks, we ventured over to our seats to watch the second half of the game.  The crowd’s energy was contagious and we all joined in to cheer on the San Jose Earthquakes.  After the game came to an end, many of us decided to keep the party going and ventured off to downtown San Jose for some drinks and dancing.

Like most weekend events, it was a night to remember.  Many members wrote a great review about the experience and shared their desire to return to the stadium to watch another soccer game.  No matter what the occasion, Events & Adventures does its best to cultivate an environment that’s light-hearted and fun for everyone in attendance.  You don’t want to miss out on our other upcoming sporting events!

Get Out There and Meet Other Active People in Vancouver

Adventurers, welcome to the new sport known as bubble soccer! A twist on the classic game of soccer (or football), this new sport is quickly becoming extremely popular all over North America. While the rules of the game do not differ from soccer, the intensity of the levels of fun certainly do! In bubble soccer the games are shorter, and while you try to score as many goals as possible during the games, you are doing so while inside a large and transparent inflatable bubble. The plastic force fields of your bubble let you flip, bounce, and roll out of any encounter!

Our Vancouver members recently enjoyed a private bubble soccer session with Bubble Ball Vancouver. We spent the afternoon being silly and trying out this hilarious game. Once we arrived at the gym Events & Adventures reserved just for us, it was time to play ball. Our instructors made sure that we got comfortable inside our inflatable bubbles, and taught us the most important rule of bubble soccer—to have fun!

After a few games of five against five, we were taught even how to play other childhood games like British Bulldog, Last Man Standing, and Red Rover from inside our bubbles. If you can’t imagine how imaginative we got with our giant bubbles you’ll just have to try out bubble soccer with Events & Adventures and next time see how creative it is!  It’s a sport for virtually everyone, and it was made for active people seeking something out of the ordinary. Bubble soccer was a huge hit, so don’t miss out on the fun next time with Events & Adventures Vancouver!

Fun events with Events & Adventures Santa Clara

Events & Adventures Santa Clara Gets its Members VIP Treatment

What’s it like to be treated like a VIP at the stadium that just weeks before the mostly highly sponsored and most highly viewed annual sporting event in the world? On March 12th, the members of Events & Adventures Santa Clara found out!

Forty of our members got a private tour of Levi’s Stadium and everyone at the venue went out of their way to make sure that this was an extraordinary day. Our group was given the honor of being the first people allowed in to tour the stadium since the Super Bowl.  We were given unbelievable access to the player’s locker rooms, VIP seating areas, the broadcasting booth, the field (which still had the Super Bowl grass) and much more.

After the tour our members were given access to the interactive Levi’s Stadium Museum. The entire museum was reserved just for our members and we were able to try on the 49er’s uniforms, perform routines with cyber 49ers cheerleaders, and run the 40-yard dash against cyber-versions of some of the team’s most famous players thanks to the magic of technology.

We ended the day with a meal at The Bourbon Pub, a restaurant located at the stadium. Everyone at the restaurant bent over backward to serve our huge group and make sure that everyone had a fantastic time!  Spending the day at Levi’s Stadium with our Events & Adventures friends is a memory that everyone will surely cherish for a very long time to come.

Getting in a game with Events & Adventures Houston

Create Relationships with Fellow Houston Sports Fans

Opening Day Baseball isn’t just any old event to sports fans—it’s a display of hope, optimism and enthusiasm.  Every fan from every major league team has high hopes for their season and their players.  After years of rebuilding we didn’t expect too much from our rag tag group of young players and aging veterans last season.  Experts from all across baseball decided that the Astros would be great—just not for another two years. Baseball pundits predicted a deep playoff run for 2017, but expected little from the 2015 season.

From April to October this group came together and did what no one expected—they committed themselves to a goal and they achieved it.  They made the playoffs for the first time since a very different version of the same team lost the World Series in 2005.  For the first time in ten years they were playing, and winning.  Houston beat the New York Yankees in the Wild Card game only to fall to the future World Champion, the Kansas City Royals, 3-2. It was a great time to experience alongside fellow sports fans from Events & Adventures Houston.

So on April 11th, when we take our seats for the 7:10pm first pitch, we will celebrate hope, optimism and enthusiasm as a group of new friends looking to come together and continue to live the life we love.  We don’t know what the season will hold, but for this one game we will enjoy more than just an evening of great baseball at Minute Maid Park.  We’ll enjoy the experience of everything Opening Day stands for, alongside fellow sports fans, and the new friends we’ve met through Events & Adventures.
